Trackside Mast Footings
RapidRoot Rail were asked to provide man portable, compact installation equipment foundations for 6m masts being installed trackside for a telecoms project.
We developed a pile with lightweight components , installed with a 20kg self powered hammer.
The first installations were carried out at Long Marston for First Group by Lindbrooke Services.
The Pile designing was completed by RapidRoot Rail, along with the pile manufacture. RapidRoot Rail used this installation as an installer training session for the new RRR installer Lindbrooke Services.
Both Masts were installed comfortably in an afternoon.
